I found this board at DI awhile back for .50 cents. I took it home, sanded it down and repainted it for a door hanging project. A few months later after this board had collected an inch of dust, I changed my mind and decided to try a different project. This is what I came up with!

Another Cheap Project
I love awesome DI Finds!
A few months ago and made a trip to good ol D.I. (Deseret Industries) and found this shelf. It was in awesome contition and the best part...it was $2.50! Rock on! So I took lovely shelf home and swtiched out the knobs and hung it on my wall. I love cheap things!
BEFORE
Meat Loaf
To be honest, I have never been a big Meat Loaf fan...until I tried my mother in laws. It was mighty tasty! So I thought I would share the love...
You will need:
2 pounds hamburger, thawed
1 cup shredded carrots
1 ½ cups oats
1 package Liptons onion soup mix
2 eggs
3 tablespoons ketchup
salt and pepper
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix together. (Use gloves) When mixed, place in pan and flatten down.
Topping
2 tablespoons ketchup
2 tablespoons mustard
2 tablespoons brown sugar
Mix all topping ingredients together in a small bowl. Then pour over the top of the meat loaf and spread with a spoon. Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees. Remove the foil for the last 10 to 15 minutes for a browned top.
***I made 4 small loaf pans of meat loaf from this recipe. (You can use a larger pan) I double wrap them in foil and store in the freezer.
So BORED!
Today I found myself cruising through other fun crafting blogs, because I was quite simply, BORED out of my MIND! I found a fun post about refurbishing a picture frame, she used fabric. Suddenly my mind traced to the hideously ulgy picture frame in my room. The bold silver one I bought for $3 right after I got married, just for the sake of having a picture frame to house our wedding pictures. I pulled out some excess fabric and my handy dandy staple gun and went to work. It's not perfect. I might re-do it in the future.
What can I say? I'm an ametuer. Not too bad though... right?
Happy Birthday Cards
April is a busy busy month for my family. My Sister, my Dad and myself, all have birthday within the same week!
I usually slack majorly at birthday time. Not this year, I REMEMBERED!!!
(Okay Okay so they arrived late, at least I remembered.)
I had fun making them using my Silhouette and the Silhouette Sketch Pens.
As for myself, my husband got me a bunny... see previous post.
I got MYSELF.... wait for it...

I'm quite excited. I have a plethora of projects coming your way so stay tuned!
